ABOUT

Kimmi Chex is rewriting the rules of sports media. Chex began her career inside the NFL itself, joining the league’s prestigious Junior Rotational Program in 2018 as a business analyst at NFL headquarters in New York. There, she built a foundation few broadcasters can claim — rotating across International Media & Business Development, Fan Database Marketing, Event Revenue & Strategy, and Digital Media before making the leap to on-camera talent in 2020.
Since then, she has become a familiar and trusted face on NFL Network, anchoring flagship programming including NFL Total Access, NFL GameDay Morning, and NFL Fantasy Live, while providing front-line coverage of the league’s marquee events — the Super Bowl, NFL Draft, and Scouting Combine among them. Beyond the network, Chex has extended her reach within the NFL ecosystem by leading social-first content that captures the voice and energy of a new era of sports media consumption.
That rare combination of boardroom fluency, broadcast instincts, and a finger on the pulse of digital culture has made Chex one of the most dynamic voices in the space. She is a 2022 Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, and has been recognized by The Athletic’s 40 Under 40: Rising Stars Shaping the Direction of the NFL and Front Office Sports’ 25 Under 25.
A University of Iowa graduate with honors, holding a B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication and a Certificate in Critical Cultural Competence, Chex brings intellectual depth and cultural fluency to every platform she touches. She is also a sought-after live event host and moderator leading conversations at conferences, business off-sites, and major stages nationwide.
Outside of her on-air role, she serves as a Board Member at United WE, a national nonpartisan nonprofit advancing women’s civic and economic engagement as well as a Board of Trustee for OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science Innovation).
She’s not just covering the game, she’s changing how it’s told.
